Hip hop dance is an energetic form of dance that combines a variety of freestyle movements to create a cultural piece of art. Popping, locking, and breaking are three of the main styles involved. Hip hop dance has evolved into one of the most popular and influential styles of dance. Our experienced and passionate instructors will guide you through every step of the way, ensuring that you have fun while learning. Each week, you'll build on what you learned in the previous class, gradually incorporating more complex moves and choreography. By the end of the 4-week course, you'll have learned a complete routine that showcases your newfound skills.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

To be best hip hopper there ever was, students should wear shoes with rubber soles. Your regular gym shoes are totally okay, but if purchasing new shoes, a student should select ones that have a smoother bottom with less traction. As far as attire goes, don't be afraid to embrace the hip-hop culture! Baggy tops and bottoms are totally cool in our studio. Students should feel comfortable when dancing, so things like workout gear and other non traditional hip hop garments are totally cool too! We want you to feel your best when dancing, so wear whatever will help you succeed on your dance journey. As long as you can move it in your dance gear, then you can definitely bust a groove with us.
